Third quarter economic growth in the U.S. was revised higher, from an annual rate of 1.7 percent to 2.5 percent, but the big news this morning (aside from the Irish government that now appears to be crumbling) is that North Korea is firing missiles at South Korea as captured in the amateur video below.
It’s not exactly “shock and awe”, but people are dying over renewed tensions in the two nations’ maritime border dispute. For more details, see this NY Times story. Accoring to thisreport from Australia, the attack was ordered by dictator-in-waiting Kim Jong-un.
